As we get towards the end of the year, it’s time to reflect a little on what went by, but more importantly, to look at what’s coming.
2013 is going to be an interesting year for the company. This year we cemented our position as one of the leading European WordPress firms, but we know there are areas we’ve been weak in. Competitors are either better at workflow, so making them more efficient, can use remote workers more effectively, or they market better. So we’ve worked on all of those recently and will be showing more of what we can do in the next few months.
And for Xmas you’re all about to get a new version of the ever popular Database Search Replace Script – it has no fancy name, and a simple job, but it does a lot of clever things. The new version is more user friendly, ‘safer’ with dry runs and countdowns, and it shows what we can do in terms of web application development outside of WordPress – even though it was originally built for that platform. We’re finalising testing over the next few days and may even do a Xmas day release! But if you’re feeling brave, you can grab a sneak preview from Github!
So now is the time to wish everyone a very Merry Xmas, and a Prosperous New Year!
And of course, we had a Xmas do for the team. We’re a small firm, so it was a cozy meal out and a few drinks rather than a hotel takeover! Here’s some pics.
