We’re pretty busy here at interconnect/it, we’ve got loads of exciting new projects planned and we’re on the lookout for the very best people to come and join our ever expanding team.
Working here, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the biggest users in the WordPress market. Current clients include New Statesman, The Spectator, The Telegraph, Design Week, Marketing Week and NATS (the air traffic control people). We’re also in the middle of expanding our product portfolio, more info on that below.
We are based at Liverpool Science Park in comfortable, air-conditioned offices in central Liverpool. For those commuting into the city, our offices are 10 minutes walk from Liverpool Lime Street train station and we are well connected to the local and wider road network.
We are also a stones throw from the well-known ‘Georgian Quarter’ of the city, including the popular Hope Street – ideal for a work lunch out, a coffee break in the middle of the day or a quick drink after work on a Friday evening. Some of our favourite haunts are Free State Kitchen, The Everyman and 92 Degrees Coffee.

Working here is pretty sweet, really. We’ve tried to set working life up to help with productivity, freedom and creativity. Work-life balance is really important to us.
Several of us have children and we understand the importance of flexible working arrangements. Our standard working week is 37.5 hours, but we can also accommodate part-time working arrangements and remote working for up to 2 days per week.
We also like to get together as a team outside work. Some activities include a 5K colour obstacle run in aid of the RNLI, Go Karting, Go Ape and a day of culture, where we visited some local attractions.
We take the comfort of our employees seriously, allowing you to get your job done. Motorised sit/stand desks with comfortable chairs come as standard. In terms of kit, a high spec PC Workstation, Macbook Pro or Surface Pro – your choice.
In addition to our client work, we also have a really great collection of tools, some of which like the WP Performance Profiler and the Search Replace DB we release publicly while others are non-public, used to enhance client sites. We also have an exciting product project on the go, which will give you the ability to really stretch your skills and creativity.
If you think you’d make a great member of our team, please forward your CV, a cover letter explaining why you’d like to work for us and a link to your personal website to firstname.lastname@example.org.
