Meet the Team
Andrea joined us in December 2016. With a background in web and plugin development, Andrea hit the ground running and is involved with developing for some of our larger client sites.
Before training in web development, Andrea worked as a chef and he is still a passionate cook. His other interests include craft beers and socialising with friends.
Andrew started with us as our first apprentice back in February 2014, graduating the following year. Andrew soon fit right in and we were delighted when he became a permanent member of the team.
A keen tennis player, if he’s not coding, you’re more than likely to find Andrew out on the tennis court.
Lover of tea, good beer (#alelog), typography, football, and clean layouts. Anthony joined us at the beginning of 2013 and has the job of making the company’s design stand out around the world.
As Senior Designer, he has been instrumental in the evolution of The Spectator’s online design language, the re-design of Apollo Magazine, WORKTECH Academy, and many other projects.
Barry joined us in September 2013 as Senior Developer, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the field and his hardworking nature.
Barry describes himself as ‘International Man of Mystery’ and ‘deliverer of chocolates’. His other more realistic interests include diving and building underwater robots.
Chris joined us as project manager in June 2014, bringing experience in branding, print and web projects, over a career spanning twenty years. He has been key in delivering new websites for Catholic Herald, Worktech and NATS. When he's not involved with client work, he's part of the team looking after our marketing and branding.
Outside work, Chris can usually be found running around in the name of keep fit. Often it's just him chasing after his pet dog, Charlie. Chris is also an avid watcher of Liverpool FC, mostly from his armchair, although he tells us he occasionally makes the trip to Anfield.
Outside work Claire takes an interest in music, physics and creating digital 3D models using Cinema4D.
Dave has been working in the IT industry since forever, starting with payroll development and ERP consultancy for large corporates. He is a keen traveller, photographer and motorsport enthusiast, but now puts family first as he’s in love with his two little boys.
Dave’s job title is “Director” which in a small company is another way of saying that he does all the things that developers hate to do, like account management, sales and so on. He’s usually complaining about being busy and has heard of “inbox zero” but believes it to be little more than a concept.
We were happy to welcome Evgenii to our team in September 2015. A graduate of the University of Liverpool, Evgenii has worked in the industry since 2007 and is an enthusiastic, hard working developer. As Lead Developer at interconnect/it, Evgenii oversees all development work at the company.
In his spare time, you are likely to find Evgenii skateboarding and keeping up with industry news.
Gianluigi joined us in March 2016 from sunny Sicily, with a career background as a back end developer. As Technical Architect, Gianluigi is responsible for the planning and consideration of technologies at interconnect/it and how they are used and adopted by the company.
Outside working hours, Gianluigi enjoys keeping up to date with the latest industry and technology news and exploring the many experiences of his new home in the UK.
James is a hard-working hardcore developer who is more than happy to reinvent the wheel, except this time it’ll have spokey dokeys and reflectors built in! He also doesn’t like social media or having his picture taken but we got him in the end.
Much of the core tech behind interconnect/it has either been developed by James, or he had a hand in making it robust and reliable.
Laurie joined our team back in 2010, when we were still a very small company. As Office Manager, Laurie can generally be found looking after the accounts, HR and ensuring everything runs smoothly in the office.
Outside work, Laurie enjoys running and spending time with her two little boys. She has a vital role at interconnect/it, helping to swing the balance between geek and normality!
Joining us in January 2014, Mim works on both internal and client projects here at interconnect/it. She is also part of the team coordinating our marketing, copywriting and keeping our site up to date.
Outside work, Mim enjoys running, reading and completing a design course.
